Here are a few of my top family activities to visit over the 2019 Easter holidays!

Easter at Eden

Head to Eden this Easter holidays for a fun-packed day out in Cornwall, at our farm-themed Easter event, including a giant scramble course and special chocolate treats. Join the Eden Farmers to help round up their animals, and learn what makes crops grow. Play a-mooo-sing games and eggciting activities. Collect stamps to fill up your card and eggschange them for cracking prizes!

The Milkyway Adventure Park

Journey down the rabbit hole to The Milky Way Adventure Park's unique Easter Grotto this April 11th-24th. Collect your egg direct from the Easter Bunny and take part in the eggciting Easter Treasure Hunt with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Meet the friendly Eggsperts in the Easter Bunny HQ where they control the production of the entire world's chocolate eggs. Venture past their crazy control panel, creep down the bunny-themed secret passage and into the Easter Bunny's front room, where all those aged 1-12 will meet the Bunny and receive a FREE chocolate egg.

Then search the site, find the clues and hand in your completed treasure hunt sheet to be entered into the Golden Egg prize draw, with a family annual pass and other great prizes up for grabs.

Plus … Star Wars fans will be excited to hear that Storm Troopers and other characters from the legendary films are coming to The Milky Way Adventure Park over the Easter holidays. On Saturday 20th April 2019 you'll be able to meet and take pictures with characters from the films as they patrol the park throughout the day.

Anna Boghiguian at Tate St Ives

This is the first retrospective in the UK of the Egyptian-Canadian artist of Armenian origin, Anna Boghiguian (Cairo, 1946). A close observer of the human condition, the artist draws equally on the past and present, poetry and politics, joyfulness and a critique of the modern world.

This immersive exhibition features dramatic large-scale installations of paintings on sailcloth and papier-mache sculptures, alongside more intimate displays of artist books and elements of her own studio.

For this exhibition, Anna Boghiguian has created a new work inspired by the industrial history of Cornwall; featuring characters, processes and materials drawn from the mining and fishing industries.

Explosive Easter at Flambards

Younger visitors can enjoy experiments, explosions and a chocolate egg trail as part of an action-packed Easter at Flambards Theme Park (April 6th – 22nd ). The Helston attraction is fully open throughout the holidays and will be running an 'Explosive Easter' event with a team of madcap scientists staging a series of explosive fun experiments in their indoor laboratory.

On April 21st Flambards' foxy mascot Ferdi will be leading the BIG Easter Egg Quiz Trail, find the clues dotted around the park, then hand in your quiz sheet for a chocolate egg.

Flambards fun mix of rides, indoor attractions and entertainment makes it the perfect destination for an unforgettable family day out.
