A Halloween Tale - Mysteries Of The Cave At Cheddar

This Halloween, get ready for some ghostly going's on at Cheddar Gorge & Caves. Some famous (or should that be infamous) literary figures have come to life and taken up residence inside Gough's cave, but what do they want? And why are they there?

When you reach the cave entrance you'll be handed the mystery case files, which contain important clues to help you along the way. Delve down into this prehistoric cave, filled with spectacular secret caverns, hidden chambers and remarkable rock formations. Weave your way through Gough's Cave and solve this spooky mystery in an exciting and immersive day out for all ages, taking place from the 27th October to 4th November.

The Great Golden Pumpkin Hunt At Hestercombe Gardens

Willow the Witch is preparing a special magical potion and The most important ingredient is a slice of a golden pumpkin but they are very rare and difficult to find. It's your job to hunt high and low – up in the woods and down by the lake – and see if you can find the pumpkin and help Willow complete her potion.

If you succeed on your mission and find the golden pumpkin, you will receive a delicious chocolate pumpkin to take home.

October half term is always filled with fun around our Cornwall holiday parks with Halloween and early bonfire events! Here are my favourite Cornwall events over October:

DairyLand Farm World

There are lots of ghoulish goings-on at DairyLand over Halloween to keep your little monsters entertained all day! Pumpkin carving, frighteningly free-range fun and creepy craft workshops are all available through October Half Term, but watch out for things that go bump in the bull pen!

Camel Creek

Bursting with ghostly events and packed with treats; Halloween at Camel Creek is looking spooktacular for the whole family this October half term.

The well-known Witch's Grotto is back this year, with a TWIST! Interact with the Witch in her house and help her create a very special potion; you can even take part in apple bobbing, colouring competitions, biscuit decorating, wall of horrors and more with the Witch.

NEW FOR 2018 – help solve the murder mystery and find out who committed the crime. Examine the crime scene and solve the clues as you explore the park, putting together the puzzle to solve the crime. Solve the crime correctly to be entered in our draw for family Annual Membership*
