World Tourism Day 2017

Hello ladies & gents! Today at our UK holiday parks we are celebrating World Tourism Day, which aims to raise awareness that tourism is vital to our communities and how much it affects social, cultural, political and economic values around the world. Last year the UK was ranked by visitor numbers as the eighth largest international tourism destination sitting just behind the USA, France, Italy & China.

The Southwest of England is home to some of the most enchanting spots in the country and we are so lucky to have all of our caravan parks in this beautiful part of the UK. Counties such as Somerset, Devon & Cornwall hold a feeling of tranquillity and are home to some of the UK's best beaches and attractions. In 2016 the South West attracted 2.50 million visitors with a total revenue of £1.34 billion.
