Youngsters Invited to Rocking The Rockpools with Cornwall Wildlife Trust
Thanks for reading my blog, sorry I haven’t been posting regularly, I’ve been super busy since my birthday at Easter!
The weather’s been beautiful here in Cornwall for a couple of weeks now...you know what that means? It’s time to get down the beach with Freddy and do some rockpooling! I’m sure some of you guys on your UK family holidays have already beaten us to it?
If you’re visiting next month, Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s own Fox Club is hosting a Rocking The Rockpools event...and you are ALL invited!
The event takes place Sunday 8th May, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, at an unconfirmed rocky shore near Penzance.
You and your families can explore and get educated on the various sealife that you come across, like Blennies, Prawn, Crab and Pipefish.
Fox Club Manager, Kirstie Francis, said: “This is the perfect event for families to get close to nature and discover more about the wonderful wildlife on our shores.”
“We are very grateful to South West Water for supporting the event.”
Rocking The Rockpools is a free event, but donations to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust are welcome.
