Brand new Dunes entertainment venue officially opened at Sandy Glade Holiday Park

Here at John Fowler Holidays we're super excited to announce news that our brand new Dunes entertainment clubhouse at Sandy Glade Holiday Park is officially open!

We're committed to an ongoing refurbishment programme at all of our parks, which includes facilities as well as our range of accommodation. At Sandy Glade, the overhauled clubhouse joins top of the range platinum caravans and lodges for you to enjoy on your cheap UK family holidays this season.

Dunes, rebranded from Bumbles because of the park's coastal location, has been an 8 week off-season project and our Sales and Marketing Manager Cathie Whormsley is ecstatic with the turn around. She said: “We're very proud of our refurbished clubhouse at Sandy Glade Holiday Park. The team on the park have worked really hard to deliver a fantastic new venue in a short space of time.”

We completely stripped out the interior before new flooring was laid, internal and external walls repainted with a beach theme in mind, and new exterior doors fitted. The reception area has also been rebuilt as part of the renovation.

Clubhouse capacity has increased with more contemporary and comfortable seating introduced. You'll notice more plasma TV screens dotted around – these will be showing live sports fixtures so you won't have to miss the game. Finally a new entertainment system will allow the park to move to live link bingo later in this season.

The grand opening was held on Saturday 14th March and the ribbon was cut with the help of two of our younger guests, Holly & Ashton. A great night was had by all and it was rounded off superbly with a set by The Easybeats.

Dunes is the first in a series of planned clubhouse renovations which will also span our Devon and Cornwall holiday parks. We hope you get a chance to make use of the improved facilities in your cheap UK breaks to come.
