Ribbon Cut At Widemouth Bay’s New Drifters Club
Here at John Fowler Holidays we're committed to an ongoing refurbishment programme at all of our holiday parks in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. These include indoor and outdoor entertainment facilities as well as our portfolio of accommodation.
On Friday 4th March we were delighted to cut the ribbon on our newest project, Widemouth Bay's new Drifters Clubhouse.
The opening night was well attended and we had entertainment from the resident Stripey team, headed by Stripey Chris, followed by a late night cabaret from Traveller Duo. The ribbon was cut by our longest standing owners on the park, Frank and Claudette.
Drifters, rebranded from Stables Bar because of the park's coastal location, has received a complete refit with new carpets and furniture throughout. Windows and fascia boards were replaced, a new ceiling put in place with new electrics and lighting. The bar and reception were given a makeover and we moved the Foxy Shop from the main clubroom into the arcade to create additional seating. The building was painted inside and out and all signage was replaced.
Sales and Marketing Manager, Cathie Higgs, said: âWe are really excited to open the doors on our 2nd club house refurbishment project at Widemouth Bay.â
âThe team on site have been working extremely hard with external contractors since December to deliver this fresh and contemporary clubhouse.â
âThe initial feedback from our guests and owners has been extremely positive and we look forward to welcoming many more guests through the doors of Drifters.â
