Professional Holiday Home Letting Scheme
Why not join our letting scheme so you can make money from your holiday home when you're not using it. You'll still have the flexibility and freedom that comes with owning a holiday home as you can keep dates for your own use and for friends and family to come and stay.
Subletting through John Fowler Holidays, couldn't be easier. We take care of all the advertising, correspond with the guest including booking confirmations, pre-arrival information, collect all money, check guests in and out, and liaise with them during their stay. We'll look after your holiday home between lets, cleaning and replacing any gas bottles or inventory as needed.
Once you have chosen the dates you want to keep for personal use and completed our letting agreement, we will grade your holiday home so that it fits with our hire fleet grading and make sure you have the necessary inventory and required certification. The grade of your holiday home will depend on various factors such as the age of your holiday home, condition and features. Once it has been graded and all personal items removed, your holiday home is ready to let.
Our Owners' Portal gives you full visibility of the bookings in your holiday home, and allows you to request additional weeks for personal use (subject to availability). If you change your mind about the dates you've given us, don't worry, you may still be able to take your holiday. We just need at least a months' notice of the change to your plans and we can do our best to try and move things around. You'll receive a statement 3 times a year showing you the letting income that is due to be paid to you.
Caravan or lodge owners graded silver or above can join our scheme which will guarantee enough money to cover your site fees, and probably more besides! We're so confident that we can get enough lettings for you that, if we fall short, we will make up the difference. All we ask is that you offer us a minimum of 14 weeks (7 of which must fall during our defined school holiday dates) for us to let on your behalf. Please note all sublet income will be included in the calculation to offset your site fees, not just the income from the 14 weeks.
