Sandy Glade Holiday Park

The Park

Sandy Glade is a level holiday park. We have two fully adapted caravans with wet rooms, lowered work surfaces and widened doorways. They come with dedicated parking alongside them. We also have one pet-friendly assisted chalet for guests with partial mobility. The road surface is tarmac throughout the park. There is a kerb outside most chalet accommodation. Certain units are suitable for a mobile ramp but others are not. Please check at the time of booking.

Getting Around

The number 20 bus stops directly outside the park and runs between Burnham on Sea and Weston-super-Mare. Timetables can be found here and are also available from Reception.

Although the nearest train station is Highbridge, it only has a limited service and it is advisable to catch a train to Weston-super-Mare from where there are good bus links to the park.

Public Buildings

Access to our main venue is suitable for those with partial mobility. The colour schemes generally provide contrast between floor, wall and doorways for the partially sighted. There are designated disabled parking spaces next to the clubhouse. The swimming pool is accessed via a ramp. Entrance into the shop and Chef’s Corner is level. There is a disabled toilet with RADAR access next door to Chef’s Corner. There is a baby changing unit in the main facility building.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all public areas.

Dietary Requirements

Chef’s Corner offers a wide range of foods which we anticipate will meet most dietary requirements. All vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices are marked on the menu. For any other allergies, please speak to our staff who will be happy to help.

Mobile Signal and WiFi

Most mobile phone networks are accessible. We offer free WiFi throughout the park. At Sandy Meadows, all lodges have dedicated WiFi.
