Best Coastal Pubs in North Devon
There are only a few weeks to go now until our North Devon holiday parks open for 2020 and we can’t wait to see our guests enjoying their caravan holidays in Devon for another year. We know how important it is to relax and switch off during your cheap UK holidays, so finding a good pub with sea views and delicious food is a great way to enjoy our holiday.
Here’s a list of our favourite coastal pubs in North Devon.
Overlooking the Torridge Estuary, the views from The Boathouse are picture perfect. You can enjoy a selection of local drinks on the roof terrace watching some spectacular sunsets over the river. With a menu that is swimming with a fine selection of seafood and North Devon produce you will be spoilt for choice at this coastal venue. You can even take your four-legged friend!

The famous Thatch Inn is a unique pub full of character, set in the picturesque North Devon seaside village of Croyde. There’s something very quaint about the charming personality of this pub, with a varied local drinks menu and delicious home cooked food including the famous Thatch Nachos, this is the perfect place to relax by the sea.
Overlooking North Devon’s famous Saunton beach you can expect and unforgettable al fresco dining experience at this modern day restaurant. Beachside Grill offers a unique blend of quality sourced ingredients, lots of attractive dishes suitable for vegans and vegetarians and an extensive list of alcoholic and soft drinks.
The Cove Restaurant, Berrynarbor
Just a short walk from our caravan parks in North Devon, this relaxed 1 AA Rosette awarded restaurant is truly magical. With exquisite views over the Bay, The Cove Restaurant is the perfect setting for fine dining whilst you are on holiday in North Devon. The Cove uses simple values at the heart of their menus- using local, seasonal produce sourced from the waters and pastures of Devon. From A La Carte menu to bar menu this restaurant has something for everyone.
Directly across the road from the beach in the coastal village of Woolacombe is The Red Barn. Known as the ‘Surf Church’ due to its impressive surfing memorabilia, this pub is a welcoming home for locals and visitors. Serving Great British Pub food daily from 11am – 9pm and offering a wide range of drinks at the bar, you are bound to find something to whet your appetite.
