Booked through a sun break holiday promotion.The check in time was 4pm.When we arrived at 4.30pm we checked in and were told our caravan was ready and to go on down.When we got there the cleaner was still cleaning it.We finally got in the caravan at 5.15pm Nice, clean and tidy quite site with access to a little beach down some steep steps.We went in the clubhouse and played bingo and had a drink.Pool area looked nice. We stayed in one of the basic 6 birth caravans which was clean, comfortable and warm with everything you could need and plenty of hot water. The beds however were awful and the mattress need replacing.They were so soft and you could feel and hear the springs going ! The two singles were not much better and my son ended up on the sofa on the second night ! There was also ice cream left in the freezer from previous occupants.All the staff we spoke to were lovely

UPDATE: I shared my concerns with head office who very quickly contacted the staff at the holiday park, I spoke with someone names Gavin, who very quickly reassured me over the phone and sent someone over to address the issues I raised. It is otherwise a really lovely place to stay, the location is exceptionally beautiful with lots of great spots nearby and the staff helpful. My original complaint was about cleanliness of the pet friendly accommodation I was staying in, but that has now since been addressed, so I have updated my review to reflect that.

Gorgeous site, all caravans were very clean, well stocked and very well presented. Club was good value for money with friendly helpful staff. On site cafe was lovely, good selection of meals & snacks all very reasonably priced.

Come here twice a year for the hot tub lodge. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Our second time here this year and I think it is really good the facilities are good the pool was heated inside which was great for our trip in September in April the outside pool was open sun was shining I wondered why I bothered going abroad it had all the kids could want. The arcade is quite fun albeit the ticket system doesn’t work in most machines those what we’re working certainly lacking a bit of maintenance there. Entertainment is what you make of it, would advise a few beers prior. Grounds are lovely there’s crazy golf and ping pong as well as pool tables and a snooker table too, kids play park, fields and dog agility course, shop, laundrette, all important punch machine bar area and bar food available, regular bingo and really nice staff. The rooms were certainly tidy and cleaned it wasn’t immaculate a lot of hair in ours in the shower wrapped round the shower head I didn’t want to touch it and unfortunately dog hair (ours was dog friendly) all on the sofas (which is against policy so not the parks fault per say) in my bedroom again long dog hair it’s a misuse by guests which the next person has to put up with. I had a dog but wouldn’t let her on the furniture that’s the rules and respectful. Apart from this hairea and the fact caravan is one up from camping Albeit big step up I thought it was great I’m aware it’s not the Hilton me and my family had a great time relaxing here.

We had such a wonderful holiday once again! The park staff were all so warm, welcoming, and friendly — it really makes such a difference. Karen provided fantastic entertainment with her brilliant Bingo Beats, keeping everyone laughing and dancing. Marie and the rest of the bar staff were so kind and welcoming, and Karl at Chef’s Corner deserves a special mention — his chatty, friendly service was second to none, and he cooked the best steak ever! It was also lovely to see the wonderful Erin again — always a pleasure! The views from the park are absolutely outstanding, and it was great to catch up with guests we met last year for a good chat. The accommodation was lush as always — clean, tidy, and spacious. The whole park has such a five-star, relaxing atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back again soon!
