The service provided was excellent from the moment of arrival until departure. While the caravan was clean and suitable for our requirements, it was evident that it could benefit from some modernization and updates. There were a significant number of dead flies present, which detracted from the overall experience. The on-site facilities, particularly the arcade, were somewhat outdated and lacked engaging entertainment options. The prizes offered were not commensurate with the effort required to obtain tickets, and several machines were non-functional. On a positive note, the swimming pool was well-maintained, and the staff demonstrated exceptional proficiency in interacting with children.
What a gem of a place. We spent a week on August at No 35 Perran View. This was the first time staying and our house was perfect.
The house was extremely well equipped.
The site itself was very quiet. The pool was lovely and warm. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Situated in between Perranporth and St Agnes which is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall.
3 min drive to beach I stayed in the premium caravan it was very lovely hot-tub was amazing loved the swimming there they had big water pedal boat which where lots of fun super great arcade loads of fun affordable games to play rabbits 🐇 run around at night which is very cutwould definitely recommend amazing restaurant next to the camp grounds!!! ❤️ hope this helps!
The lodge itself was really lovely and the hot tub was great. We found a few bits of rubbish on arrival but it didn’t bother us a huge amount. The only reason I can’t give a 5 star is the swimming pool. The pool over on sandy glade sister park. The ‘kids pool’ was filthy and gritty on the floor. They’re wasn’t anything for kids like jets or slides etc which was abit disappointing. The changing rooms also weren’t great no changing table for a baby If needed.
Brilliant mobile home (H2) clean, and everything you needed. Downside Ottoman bed was very clunky and mattress bit soft for us, but most nights slept well. Fantastic location to walk from the site to Berry Head and Brixham. Reception was a very jolly welcome, shop man, not so. Wasn't bothered that milk was dripping, hey ho, just didn't go back and went to another shop! Entertainment and bar friendly and enjoyable. Paid for passes, which were not checked, and still wonder why needed when we are going to spend money anyway. Would recommend. Thank you 😊
We had a, wonderful week here!! Yes, the caravan was a bit tired, but we knew what to expect as we were taking our dog, so we knew it would be an older caravan, but, it was spotlessly clean, and well equipped. The park had a good clubhouse, and bar, and though the entertainments, team was small, they did a great job!! The little shop was well stocked with essentials, and the grounds were really clean, neat and tidy. And, the staff were lovely!! All very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!
