Best Walking Routes in Wales

With both of our Wales holiday parks being located on the Wales coastline we are certainly not short of stunning walking routes.

We have put together a list of our favourite walking routes near our Wales holiday parks.

Wales Coast Path

The Wales Coast Path is 870 miles long with breathtaking views along the Welsh coast, it is one of a few countries in the world that has a continuous coastal footpath stretching its entire length coastline. The whole path is accessible to walkers, with some sections suitable for cyclists, families with pushchairs, people with restricted mobility, and horse riders.

The path is divided into sections, Gower & Swansea Bay is only a short distance from Llanrhidian and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is near Cardigan Bay.

Penllergare Valley Woods

Penllergare Valley Woods is a magical and secret place, situated close to Swansea, it is the perfect place to visit when you are staying at Llanrhidian Holiday Park. Penllergare Valley Woods consists of 500 years of Welsh history, over 100 hectares of woodland and two beautiful lakes.

Pen Anglas Headland Walk

This National Trust circular walk offers stunning views over Cardigan Bay, it is approximately 2 miles long and takes between 1 and 2 hours to complete. A barefoot walking path makes this walk a family-friendly adventure for everyone to enjoy.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Just a short distance from Cardigan Bay Holiday Park, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is one of three national parks in Wales. The park covers 243 sq miles and boasts an incredible coastline of natural sea caves, sandy beaches and seaside towns.
