Christmas in Cornwall

Hey guys! Me and the Foxy Gang are so excited for Christmas here at our Cornwall Holiday parks, there is so much going on round here at this time of year it is awesome!! It feels like Cornwall has been turned into a magical winter wonderland and we are certainly not short of Christmas spirit! Here are some of the wonderful things going on over the festive period:

Reindeer Parade, Truro - To kick start the Christmas festivities in Truro a beautiful herd of reindeer take part in a Christmas procession through the town, you can also meet the reindeers and see Father Christmas before the procession. Mallett's Home Hardware is supporting and collecting for Children's Hospice South West. This event will take place on 30th November from 6pm. 

Flambards Christmas Fayre, Helston - On Saturday 3rd- 4th December Flambards will host their first Christmas Fair featuring around 50 local crafters and businesses. The family-friendly fair will have all the magic of Christmas with Father Christmas visiting throughout the weekend. With live Christmas music from Helston Town Band and tuck in to a delicious hog roast within the Victorian Village. 

Christmas at Eden, Bodelva - Christmas is a very magical time to visit the Eden Project with the whole site beautifully lit with lights, the glistening ice rink and Father Christmas himself will be there with his elves. On selected dates from 25th November o 30th December when darkness falls you can watch the amazing Festival of Light and Sound where you will see the Eden's winter landscape, outdoors and inside the Mediterranean Biome be transformed with light projections, music and colour. 

Christmas Festive Weekend at Newquay Zoo - From 10th-11th December there will be a whole weekend of festivities, meet Santa in his grotto and the famous penguin called Pickle. Get close to the animals and find your perfect Christmas gift, what better way to celebrate the festive season than be surrounded by the enchanting animals. 

Santa Train Lappa Valley, Newquay - Board the Santa Train bound for Santa's magical Christmas grotto this December starting from 10th until the 24th on selected dates. Tickets include a return stream ride, rides on the woodland railway, pedal cars, children's play areas, crazy golf (weather permitting), woodland walks, toddler's path maze and and receive a specially selected gift from Santa himself!
