Hot Hoff the press...
You guys must know by now that I love a bit of celebrity gossip?
I didn't even have to trawl through the glossy column inches to get this latest inside scoop â it's all over the local papers down here at our Cornwall caravan parks!
Anyway enough of the build up...
David Hasselhoff, yes âThe Hoffâ himself, has been quoted bigging-up the South West's beaches, even stating that hit TV show Baywatch could be filmed here.
âIt could certainly work in Devon and Cornwall,â he said.
âThe show was about real lifeguards and the work they do. Ok the girls may have been a little prettier at times, but that's what our life guards look like, they are in great shape.â
Admit it, have you just dug out a red swimming costume ready for your caravan holidays in Cornwall? I've even been perfecting my running along the beach pose!
Speaking to the press is never too much hassle for The Hoff, and the global star had some kind words to say about Britain, after spending plenty of time over here...
âIt's a compact United States,â he added.
âThere are so many cultures, everyone is very proud of being where they are from whether Brit, Welsh, Scottish. It's about honour and pride and that's something we miss in America.â
âI've been all over the UK over the years and know it pretty well now.â
The Hoff was speaking during promotion for his upcoming stage role, in 'Last Night A DJ Saved My Life'. You can see him at Plymouth Pavilions on January 14.
