North Devon photography competition could see YOUR photo travelling all over England

We're super lucky here in North Devon, awesome beaches, vast countryside, Exmoor National Park and stunning views almost everywhere you go in the region. So stunning that bringing a camera on your Devon holidays is a must – I think you'd agree?!

If you've managed to capture a wicked photo during your holidays in North Devon, you could see it displayed on the side of an arctic lorry! It's really simple, you just have to enter a local photography competition.

The North Devon Marketing Bureau, along with Evans Transport, the North Devon Journal and Western Morning News, are on the lookout for four quality images to plaster on the sides of four Evans Transport lorries, travelling all over the country.

One lorry has already taken the road with the caption "I'd Rather Be In North Devon", and a second is just a few weeks off.

North Devon Marketing Bureau Chairman, Trevor Stanbury, said: "I think Evans Transport have actually been amazing offering us the opportunity to put these lorries on the road, going from one end of the country to the other, which is a tremendous advert."

Nigel Evans, MD of Evans Transport, added: "With the new trailer only a few weeks away, having two now travelling around the country, more and more people will get the chance to see these wonderful images of our wonderful heritage."

So do we have a winning photo from a visitor at our holiday parks in Devon? It could be a sunset shot over Woolacombe, a group of ponies grazing up on Exmoor, or a family day out at the zoo. There are no specifics, so email your pictures to fran@northdevonjournal.co.uk by November 5th.

An added prize is a trip on the lorry and a family ticket to The Milky Way – one of North Devon's top attractions!
