Organisers announce James Morrison as Tunes in the Dunes headliner
One of Freddy's Top 10 Must Visit Cornwall Events In 2016 created a stir this week when it announced a superstar local as the first headliner for its beach-side festival.
James Morrison, a Cornish resident through his teenage years, has been announced as the Sunday headliner at the second Tunes in the Dunes music festival.
The festival, returning after a successful debut in 2015, takes place from May 27th to May 29th on Perranporth Beach â on the doorstep of our own Perran View Holiday Park.
The singer/songwriter and Brit award winner has returned to the county throughout his career, playing sets at the Hall For Cornwall and Eden Sessions in recent years.
As well as hits like You Give Me Something and Broken Strings, the soulful star will be treating the crowds to tracks from his latest album, released in October.
Last year some of you may have tied Tunes in The Dunes in with your UK short breaks, seeing artists like Status Quo, Scouting For Girls and Tom Odell. With James Morrison already confirmed, it looks like 2016's festival is one you won't want to miss!
