Paxo looks ahead to Truro cultural festival

Hello everyone, it's Paxo here.

I thought I'd pop on and write a blog to let everyone know about an exciting festival I plan on heading along to when we take our holidays in Cornwall.

There's an annual cultural festival taking place in Truro in April and I'm really looking forward to it.

I've just been reading about how it took place for the first time last year – and how more than 50 events took place across the city.

There are going to be even more this year apparently. According to the website for the festival, www.enjoytruro.co.uk, there'll be a giant gig on Lemon Quay, lots of art exhibitions, a number of creative workshops, a comedy night, a colourful spring flower show, several literary talks and an Easter Sunday Family Fun Day.

It's taking place between April 4 and 20, bringing life to the city over Easter.

Most of the festival takes place in a giant marquee on Lemon Quay, but six pop-up gazebos will also host events during the festival.

I can't wait! I'm especially looking forward to attending some of the craft shows and learning how to make some cute new pieces for round the house!
