VIDEO: Stunning aerial footage of Poldark filming locations

Has anyone else found their Sunday nights now revolve around Poldark, since the series' re-release aired on BBC One?

The programme has made the 9pm slot its own down here at our holiday parks in Cornwall, not just because of the gripping storyline, but because of the stunning scenes that show off our Cornish coastline.

Based on Winston Graham's famous novels, Poldark tells the story of Ross Poldark, an army officer who returns to Cornwall from the American War of Independence to find his world in ruins, his father dead, his house wrecked and his sweetheart now engaged.

Thanks to Visit Cornwall we can now check out the amazing filming locations used by Poldark, after the tourism website released aerial drone footage of the beautiful spots. Take a look at the mini film below...

Chances are you'll have visited some of the iconic locations during your caravan holidays in Cornwall.

St Agnes Head near Perran View Holiday Park looks breathtaking, as well as the historic harbour at Charlestown. Church Cove, Botallack and Levant, Padstow and Bodmin Moor are also featured in the short shots.
