Wild beaver caught on film at a farm in Devon
Hello chums! Kenny here. You will never guess what has been spotted near a river in Devon? A beaver! Images of the rare animal were taken near the River Otter so if you're on caravan holidays in Devon, and more specifically at South Bay Holiday Park, Brixham then you could stand a chance of getting a glimpse and the impressive chap for yourself.
It's said to be living on a large stretch of the river, so keep your eyes peeled children.
It is a special discovery as beavers were hunted to extinction in England and Wales during the 12th Century and disappeared from the rest of the UK 400 years later.
A beaver has been spotted in the River Otter before.
Last July, another sighting of a beaver living wild was seen on several occasions by people out walking their dogs.
The Devon Wildlife Trust in west Devon kept two beavers have been kept in a secure and secret location to see if the animals can help restore wetland areas.
