Sandy Glade Beach Clean

On Tuesday 6th Feb, over 30 staff members from Sandy Glade Holiday Park joined forces to carry out a beach clean along the sands between Brean and Berrow. They collected several sackfuls of litter that had been washed up by the tide, including plastic bottles, cans, fishing nets, and other debris. By doing so, they helped to protect the wildlife and the beauty of the beach, as well as making it safer and more enjoyable for visitors who arrive tomorrow, when their doors open for 2024. Even Freddy & Trixie got involved! 

The beach clean was part of the holiday park’s commitment to giving back and helping the village. General Manager David Harper from John Fowler Holidays, the company that owns Sandy Glade Holiday Park, said: “We take our place in the community seriously and like to give back and help the village when we can.”
