Success at the Cornwall Tourism Awards

St Ives & Trelawne Manor Win Commended Award at Cornwall Tourism Awards

We are delighted to announce that two of our Cornwall Holiday Parks have been awarded Commended award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards.

St Ives Holiday Village won Commended in the ‘Wildlife Friendly Tourism Business’ award. All of the staff and owners at St Ives Holiday Village have been working extremely hard to protect and enhance wildlife on the park over the past couple of years and this award shows that their hard work has been paying off – congratulations to everyone at St Ives.

Darren Rowe General Manager of St Ives Holiday Village says: “This is the first time our park have entered the Wildlife Friendly Tourism Awards and we are so proud to receive this recognition. There was a time in 2020 when the only inhabitants on our park were the wildlife and they are an incredibly important part of the guest experience here. We will continue to work hard to protect their natural habitats to be enjoyed for many years to come.”

Trelawne Manor Holiday Park has been awarded Commended status for Holiday Park of the Year which recognises excellence across every aspect of the business. This is a fiercely contested category seeing entrants from across the county. Cathie Higgs, Sales Director comments: “We are delighted to receive 2 commended awards from Cornwall Tourism. The past year has been an incredible challenge for everyone involved in the tourism industry and it is a testament to our staff that we are still able to achieve such high standards and be at the forefront of quality tourism in Cornwall.” Congratulations to all at St Ives Holiday Village and Trelawne Manor.
