Winter Developments at Sandy Glade

We've been busy over the Winter at our Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Somerset. We have demolished a block of the oldest chalets and replaced them with brand new caravans. The project involved the demolition and removal of 5 chalets, the prepartion and building of new concrete pads and finally siting the caravans. The caravans were supplied by Southern Counties Leisure who are based jsut 2 miles down the road from us. The model is the 2020 Salcombe which is manufactured especially for John Fowler Holidays by Willerby who have been the UK's leading manufacturer of caravans for over 70 years.

The Salcombe is a caravan holiday home with contemporary chic styling and offers flexible social space. It's features include energy efficient white PVC double glazed windows and doors, thermostatically controlled gas central heating system featuring high-efficiency condensing combi boiler, L-shaped wrap around seating with fold-out sofa bed, integrated Bluetooth MP3 sound system, kitchen with integrated fridge-freezer and microwave, and gas oven/hob. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with lift-up storage system, TV and ensuite toilet. These form part of our platinum range.

 We have also been busy in our pool area, replacing the cubicles and existing shower as well as fitting additional showers. The whole area has been given a make over with fresh new colours, new wall murals, new poolside furniture, lockers and planting.
