Had a wonderful holiday caravan was clean and tidy. Staff was brilliant will come again.

I visited 09/03/2018-12/03/2018 A lovely little caravan site located in a quiet location of Devon with amazing cliff top views of the gorgeous beach below. The club house was dated however I really it. The staff members were so helpful and kind and really made our stay so much more enjoyable. There was a lovely entertainer staff member called Mac who really made an effort making sure our stay was exciting for adults and the children. He had lots of activities planned which were suitable for couples/ families. On arrival my caravan was warm and welcoming and it was nicely cleaned throughout. I ordered the bedlinen which was nicely pressed and laundered. I would definitely recommend John Fowler Holiday Park in combe martin to my friends and family. It is in a lovely location, quiet surroundings. It also has an amazing fish and chip shop (the best I have ever had!)
Had a lovely fortnight except being snowed in but no fault of John Fowler's. Although the van was dated it was clean and had all the facilities, Michael is a great all in entertainer and kept our grandaughter occupied for an hour or so in the kids Saturday club, another maintenance worker got the television working as it didn't tune in due to having to be boosted up, clean fresh linen was brought to us, gas bottles checked regularly and path ways gritted also grass strimmed. Has a lovely walk in the woodlands down to the village. All the staff were helpful and friendly, lovely views from the bar. Will defiantly book again soon.
Just come back from a five day break, SUN HOLIDAY nice basic caravan lovely and warm and clean, nice views,was a little steep poor legs , cant complain for the price, Alan.
Lovely clean park. Well located for watermouth castle and dinosaur and wildlife park. Has it's own woodland walk, although we didnt explore this. We intend to next time, as we will be back! The newberry beach is across the road and down some steps with another beach a very short walk away as is combe martin, which is nice to explore. The park itself has a pool, which we didnt use as out of season but, looked clean and looked after. The bar/ restaurant itself, has a pool/ snooker table, and has stunning views. And there is a very small park the children enjoyed. If ur after a quiet relaxing break, this is the place. The good caravan we stayed in was lovely. Would highly recommend this lovely place.
We stayed here Friday 7th September til Monday 10th September 2018......it was fantastic.......caravan was clean and in a great spot as we had our older dog with us.....caravan 13 actually......staff were all very friendly .......we had a great time and will be booking again for a 2 week holiday asap.......location and view are spectacular and loads of things to do in the area
Just returned from a lovely weekend great site stayed in one of the chalet's with great views recently updated new furnishings would visit again really friendly staff.
We booked a comfort/budget caravan for our 4 night stay during the Easter holidays and I was pleasantly surprised of the condition of the caravan. It was clean and had everything we needed. Nothing like some of the bad reviews suggested. Do not let these put you off! The park itself is clean and tidy and has a peaceful, quiet vibe about it. The clubhouse has exceptional views out to the sea which took my breath away.
We stayed from Monday to Friday, a couple and 2 dogs, on a sun newspaper holiday deal, we paid for an upgrade and had a wider 2 bed mobile home. We liked the site, very quiet. We did not use any facilities on site, prefer to go off and do our own thing using the accommodation as a base to explore. Lovely views out to sea. We have not stayed with John Fowler before and were worried about some of the negative reviews we had heard / read, however none turned out to be true. we would choose to stay here again.
Just back from a week's holiday , August 2019, the caravan was clean and tidy and enough space for 2adults 1kid 1dog plenty to do within 30mins drive any direction,site nice and clean ,play area for kids safe ,pool good when open , woolacombe beach amazing sea so clear and nice sandy beach ( also dog friendly ) if u struggle with hills chose the sister park to stay at (sandaway beach) friendly helpful staff ,close to local shops, cafe's pubs (pack of cards pub amazing food also dog friendly) would revisit gladly
