Llanrhidian Holiday Park

The Park

Llanrhidian Holiday Park is a large site set in over 40 acres. The park is set into the valley and slopes up from the Paddock area at the bottom to Abbey Road at the top (please see park map for reference). The Purple Badger and main facilities are located centrally with in a level area. 

Public Transport Links

The National Express offer a coach service to Swansea Bus Station from where you can get a connecting bus service to the park. The nearest train station is Gowerton train station (6.5 miles from the park) which connects with Cardiff Central to most main routes.

Getting Around

There is a request bus stop outside the park or alternatively a fixed bus stop opposite Heron's Way Petrol Station at Llanrhidian Cross (1 mile from the park). New Adventure Travel operate the 116 bus service which goes to Swansea via Penclawwd and Gowerton. The timetable can be found here.

Public Buildings

Access to our main venue is suitable for those with partial mobility and has ramp access. The colour schemes generally provide contrast between floor, wall and doorways for the partially sighted. There are designated disabled parking spaces in front of the Purple Badger pub & restaurant. There is level access to the swimming pool from a dedicated entrance. There is an accessible toilet in the main venue. Baby change facilities can be found within all W.C’s.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all public areas.

Dietary Requirements

The Purple Badger offers a wide range of foods which we anticipate will meet most dietary requirements. All vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices are marked on the menu. For any other allergies, please speak to our staff who will be happy to help.

Mobile Signal and WiFi

There is mobile signal across the site although it is stronger in some areas than others. We offer free WiFi which is dependent on local connections and load. All accommodation has dedicated WiFi free of charge.
